Aveliza “Liza” earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN.  She then completed her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine Degree from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  She is National Board Certified and holds a Diplomate in Acupuncture status from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Liza’s journey into Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) began in 1999 as a graduate of the Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy program at Tennessee Institute of Healing Arts in Chattanooga, TN.  With additional training from the International Academy of Neuromuscular Therapy, she has experience as a Certified Level One Neuromuscular Therapy Instructor. As a native of Chattanooga, Liza is looking forward to increasing awareness of Acupuncture and Oriental medicine to the community and helping the people that she treats achieve balance in the mind, body and spirit. She utilizes different styles of acupuncture including, but not limited to: Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Japanese, Scalp, Auricular and Cosmetic acupuncture for the face and the abdomen.
